Can't log in - Sign in to experience Microsoft Copilot - infinite loop

When I go to Copilot website, there is a message:

Sign in to experience Microsoft Copilot

Please sign in to your Microsoft account or Entra ID account.

And a Sign in link - when i click it, I end up on the same page, so it is an infinite loop. Nothing happens.

Moreover, I am already signed in - I can see my avatar and name in the top right corner.

What's happening and how to fix that?

Many people are experiencing this issue.

The main reason, I think, is that Copilot is not available in some countries.

  1. Try to use VPN, which will change your IP to some Tier 1 country, like USA, Finland, Germany, France, UK, Canada, Belgium, etc. This solves the problem in 99%.
  2. Log out and log in again.
  3. Try to create another account.
  4. Use private or incognito mode in your browser.

I've just tested it - changed my IP to some unsupported country and got the same message, asking me to log in. Changed back to Finland and voilĂ , it started to work again.
